This cutlery is made from
18/10 high-grade steel in Germany. stainless steel is an alloy of steel, chrome and nickel which is used preferentially with quality cutlery. Chrome and nickel provide for the corrosion resistance and the softer shine which can be noticed on closer inspection. The steel of this cutlery includes 18% chrome and 10% nickel and is dishwasher safe and resistant against light acids and waters.
Picard & Wielpuetz Montego can
be delivered with 2 different knife types: monobloc knives are made out of one piece of chrome steel free of nickel. With these knives no joint is visible between blade and handle. steel handle knives from Picard & Wielpuetz have a blade of special steel which is welded to a handle from 18/10 stainless. These knives are an inexpensive compromise with better blades than monobloc knives.. Picard & Wielpuetz Montego in stainless is highly polished. The prestigious, timeless cutlery meets all the wishes with the extent of his additional partsand is only deliverable in sets.
From traditional manufacturer to up-to-date modern cutlery production. May well summarize the more than 75 years of history that is Picard & Wielpuetzis looking back on. \\One thing, however, resisted all changes during the course of time: \Our high demand of quality in all our products.

Frequently asked questions
A series covers plates, bowls, cups and serving pieces in one and the same decor. The items differ in shape, diameter and use — the decor stays identical across every piece, so you can combine freely and add to the set later.
Depending on the manufacturer, tableware is made from hard or soft-paste porcelain, bone china or stoneware. Cutlery comes in 18/10 stainless steel, silver-plated or solid sterling 925. The material of each item is listed in the quick view and on its product page.
