Extremely delicate, artistic ornamentation gives the model "Ludwig XVI" its special status so sought by lovers of elaborate detailing. Today, Koch & Bergfeld is the only company to still make Louis Seize silverware. It puts enormous demand on the skills of the silversmith due to the countless details, and fully lives up to the tradition of masterpieces for which the silverware workshop was renowned. Today's design has been left unchanged by Koch & Bergfeld since 1912.

metal with a silver plating in Germany. The silver is applied with a galvanic bath and is indicated in Germany usually in gramme for 12 forks and spoons, assumed with 24dm². In other countries such information predominantly is renounced. The surface is free of nickel . The Silver plating from Koch & Bergfeld corresponds to a thickness from 60 µm.
