Robbe & Berking Alt Spaten table accessories - from round to glass

The historical characteristics of this cutlery design are the almost horizontal shoulders and the elongated Alt-Spaten. Exceptional skill of the silversmith is demonstrated by the expressive form of the “ears” beneath the bowl. The “spade”design in this form has its origin in the years around 1750. The table accessory is made from with a silver plating in Germany. The silver is applied with a galvanic bath and is indicated in Germany usually in gramme for 12 forks and spoons, assumed with 24dm². In other countries such information predominantly is renounced.
