This pattern takes its name from the town of Albi, which is situated between Bordeaux and Toulouse. Here we find the famous fortified cathedral of Albi. The pure straight lines of the nave inspired this pattern. This is a pattern which defies time and changing fashions. It will enhance the quality of any table and any style of porcelain. Details
The cutlery is made from base
metal with a silver plating in France. The silver is applied with a galvanic bath and is indicated in Germany usually in gramme for 12 forks and spoons, assumed with 24dm². In other countries such information predominantly is renounced. The surface is free of nickel.
Christofle Albi has knives with
a hollow handle. Knives with a hollow handle have a blade of special steel which is clearly sharper than a blade from an simple chrome steel. The high-quality hollow handle knives are always composed from two parts, with this cutlery from the blade and the handle from silverplated. Christofle Albi in silverplated is highly polished. The classical cutlery meets all the wishes with the extent of his additional parts: from caviar spoon to mocha spoon, from bouillon cream spoon to vegetable serving spoon.
