Perfect French table culture is composed of the finest cutlery with perfectly matched porcelain.

The silver ware design, which goes back to Napoleon Bonaparte and his wife Joséphine de Beauharnais, quotes the symbol of the lotus leaf as a sign of the Napoleonic victories. Silversmiths designed the palm leaf in their works at the behest of the Emperor. The palmette edge is not only found on the tableware Malmaison, but also the broad relief rim repeats the pattern finely plated with platinum. For 50 years, the arrangement of the two classics has been the symbol for an elegant Empire from France.

Its unflattering name was given after the castle "mal maison", which was a dilapidated building - hence the name - but later turned into a radiant retreat of the Empress.

The down grade of the name must by no means conceal the fact that it may be called one of the most prestigious table-clothes of the first house.
