Details
This cutlery is made from
base metal with a silver plating in France. The decoration is accented by golden applications which is applied by a galvanic procedure. The silver plating also applied by a galvanic bath and is indicated in Germany usually in gramme per 12 each forks and spoons, these assumed with 24dm². In other countries such information predominantly is renounced.
Christofle Malmaison has knives
with a hollow handle. Knives with a hollow handle have a blade of special steel which is clearly sharper than a blade from an simple chrome steel. The high-quality hollow handle knives are always composed from two parts, with this cutlery from the blade and the handle from silver plated w/ gold decor. Christofle Malmaison in silver plated w/ gold decor is highly polished. The classical cutlery meets all the wishes with the extent of his additional parts: from soup ladle to mocha spoon, from bouillon cream spoon to vegetable serving spoon.
