This cutlery is made from
925/ooo high-grade steel in France. stainless steel is an alloy of steel, chrome and nickel which is used preferentially with quality cutlery. Chrome and nickel provide for the corrosion resistance and the softer shine which can be noticed on closer inspection. The steel of this cutlery includes 92.5% chrome and 7.5% nickel and is dishwasher safe and resistant against light acids and waters.
Christofle Origine has knives
with a monobloc. Monobloc knives are made out of one piece of chrome steel free of nickel. With these knives no joint is visible between blade and handle. Christofle Origine in stainless is highly polished.
